Turmeric Hummus

A flavorful twist on classic hummus, packed with anti-inflammatory benefits.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon Ecoaura Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (as needed for consistency)
  • Optional: Paprika and olive oil for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add chickpeas, tahini, turmeric powder, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt to a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water a tablespoon at a time to reach the desired consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika.
  5. Serve with pita bread, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.
